Call to Action

The Community Health Law Project fights every day for many vulnerable populations in New Jersey, including individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

For 47 years, the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has provided a grant that allows us to help more than 200 families per year navigate healthcare, housing, insurance, and other legal challenges.

However, this vital resource is at risk as Governor Phil Murphy’s fiscal year 2026 state budget proposal includes cutting our DDD grant funding. This loss would have a devastating impact on the families we assist.

Watch our new video and see details below
to find out how you can help.

Your Voice Matters

ACTION NEEDED - TAKE 2 MINUTES TODAY

Call Governor Phil Murphy's office (609) 292‑6000 and urge full restoration of DDD funds.
Email or call your state legislators and tell them why protecting this lifeline matters.
